One of the most effective methods for our students to interact with industry and government is through our faculty, who have one foot in academia and the other in industry. Some of the notable visiting faculty are from industry include people who are mentors and senior professionals. As our students work for 5 days and study for 2 days, our faculties are mostly from the industry and vary from location to location.
The broad objective of the program is to assist the student to become more innovative and responsive by developing enhanced links with industry and by enabling student to have direct industry exposure and experience. It is anticipated that increased links with industry will result in a range of benefits for the student in research and other functions. It is expected that the program will be an important vehicle for enhancing student skills and experience.
